MCPS/PRS Alliance
Mechanical Copyright Protection Society and Performing Right Society Alliance. The PRS collects
and distributes licence fees for the public performance and broadcast of
musical works. The MCPS collects and distributes ‘mechanical’ royalties generated from the
recording of music onto different formats. This income is distributed to members, writers and publishers of music.
BRITISH ACADEMY OF COMPOSERS AND SONGWRITERS (BACS)
The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters is Europe’s largest
composer/songwriter organisation, representing over 3,000 UK music
writers.
IPA
The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. The industry body for advertising agencies.
APA
The Advertising Producers Association is the trade body for production
